Glass Barrel Inspection System

The Glass Barrel Inspection System was developed by Kahle to meet customer requirements and a need in the market to have the ability to detect a 0.1mm defect in Glass Barrels and Containers prior to the assembly of additional components and the filling process. This prevents the need to wait until the container has been filled to perform the inspection and identifying the product as defective after the “value” has been added and the cost of the scrap is significantly higher than an empty container.
